Gex – the super cool chameleon, mouth faster than brain, tail faster than bullet – is back in GEX Trilogy, a collection that perfectly recreates three classic adventures that took the world by storm in the 1990s. Published by Limited Run Games and revived by the “nostalgic” power of Carbon Engine, GEX Trilogy is more than just a remaster – it’s the “Gex’t-gen” version, just as fans have been waiting for. If you’ve ever dreamed of surfing TV channels as a talking chameleon, that dream is back, more vivid, funnier and more complete than ever.
Three adventures – one chameleon – endless chaos
GEX Trilogy retains the unique screen-swiping gameplay, where you will travel through the world of television with extremely diverse themes, from film noir to cartoon channels to crazy ring shows. Each stage is a new incarnation, a chance for Gex to whip his tail, throw sarcastic comments and destroy a bunch of enemies with his unmistakable style. Whether you are a new player or have been with Gex through the old systems, the feeling of “crazy but fun” is still intact and more explosive than ever.
More excited with a bunch of nostalgic gifts
Not only bringing familiar gameplay, GEX Trilogy also crams a treasure trove of nostalgia that will make any veteran fan laugh. You can listen to the entire soundtrack of each game through the integrated music player, explore the original art library and classic TV commercials that aired on TV in the 90s. And especially, Gex’s voice actor – Dana Gould – also appeared in a completely new exclusive interview, bringing an extra layer of meaning and laughter to this reborn adventure.
