LEGO Marvel Super Heroes brings a large group of Marvel heroes and villains together in an original story built around LEGO-style action, puzzles, exploration, and humor. Iron Man, Spider-Man, Hulk, Captain America, Wolverine, and many other characters join forces to stop Loki and other villains from assembling a super-weapon capable of threatening the world. The Nintendo Switch version supports TV, tabletop, and handheld play, with local play for up to two players.

A Marvel Story Built Around Different Heroes
The campaign moves between different Marvel characters rather than focusing on a single hero. Each character brings abilities that can be used during combat, exploration, or environmental puzzles. Hulk can rely on strength, Spider-Man can interact with objects using webs, while characters such as Iron Man offer completely different movement and combat options. The variety encourages players to think about which hero is best suited to each situation.
Action, Exploration and LEGO Puzzles
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes combines straightforward combat with environmental puzzles and destructible LEGO objects. Levels often contain areas or collectibles that cannot be accessed immediately, giving players a reason to return later with characters that have different abilities. Nintendo classifies the Switch release as both Action and Adventure, and the game also includes free-roaming elements beyond its main missions.
Explore a Larger Marvel World
Outside the main story missions, players can spend time exploring New York and completing additional activities. Free Play makes the large character roster especially useful because players can switch between heroes with different powers to reach areas and solve challenges that may have been inaccessible during the first playthrough. This gives the game a stronger collection and exploration element beyond simply completing the campaign.
Local Co-op on Nintendo Switch
The Switch version supports one or two players on a single system, making local cooperative play one of the most natural ways to experience the game. A second player can join the action while both players use different Marvel characters and their abilities. Combined with handheld, tabletop, and TV modes, this makes LEGO Marvel Super Heroes well suited to both individual progression and local multiplayer sessions.
