Resistance: Retribution is a third-person shooter game developed by SCE Bend Studio and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. Although this game was released on multiple platforms, there is no official version for the PlayStation 2. Resistance: Retribution originally launched on the PlayStation Portable (PSP) in 2009.
In Resistance: Retribution, players take on the role of James Grayson, a former British soldier, amid the war against the alien Chimera in the series Resistance. The game takes place in Europe in the post-World War II period, when Chimera aliens are infecting and invading the continent.
The gameplay of Resistance: Retribution focuses on third-person shooting action, in which you will face off against Chimera monsters and their human allies. The game offers a variety of weapons and character customization opportunities so you can fight through the levels and advance in the story.
Although Resistance: Retribution was not released directly on the PlayStation 2, the PSP version can be played on the PS2 via backward compatibility. However, for the best experience, it is recommended to play the game on the PSP system.
