NBA Live 06 is a basketball sports video game developed by EA Sports and published by Electronic Arts in 2005 for the GameCube. It is the 11th installment in the NBA Live series and the second installment released for the GameCube.
The game features all 30 NBA teams, as well as the national teams of the United States and Canada. Players can choose to play in MyPlayer mode, where they can create their own characters and lead them to fame. The game also features a Dynasty mode, where players can run an NBA team for many years.
NBA Live 06 received positive reviews from critics. IGN rated the game 8.3/10, praising the graphics, gameplay, and game modes. GameSpot rated the game 8/10, praising the gameplay and game modes, but criticizing the graphics.
