Based on the classic short story by Harlan Ellison, the game takes you to the ultimate hell – where a supercomputer named AM has wiped out humanity, but has kept five people for eternal torture. More than just a game, this is a psychological confrontation where you will explore every dark corner of the human soul tormented by memories, guilt and fear.

Five souls, five fates, five pains
You will take turns controlling Gorrister, Ellen, Benny, Nimdok and Ted – each representing a broken part of humanity. Each story is a deep dive into the haunted past, with a unique setting and unique challenges. Your decisions will lead them to liberation… or keep them trapped in the vicious cycle created by AM.
A psychological horror adventure full of choices and consequences
The game goes beyond the creepy setting, but also challenges the player’s reasoning and moral ability. You will be faced with unclear choices, forced to weigh between humanity and survival. It is that ambiguity that makes every step tense and full of weight.
Creepy atmosphere, sharp dialogue and scary acting
AM – the main villain – is voiced by the author Harlan Ellison himself. His hissing, cold and contemptuous voice makes every line become a cut into the player’s mind. Along with that are gloomy graphics and chilling sounds, creating a dead-end atmosphere where tension is always present.
If you have ever wondered what makes people lose themselves in the rage of machines and inner turmoil, then I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream is the distorted mirror reflecting that answer. This is not a game for you to “play” – but to face, to ponder and to never forget.
