Lens 連呪 (Renju) is a horror adventure game where the player takes on the role of Tsukumo Hayato, a writer for the occult magazine “Agastya”. While investigating rumors of mysterious disappearances in S City, Tsukumo accidentally receives a strange message and video. A blood-stained camera app appears on his phone, and soon after, a horrifying message appears: “You are cursed”. From here, he is drawn into the vortex of a deadly curse, forced to find out the truth hidden in the darkness.
Journey of discovery in the dark
The game takes the player to many haunted locations, where curses and vengeful spirits still exist. Tsukumo has only two tools: a flashlight to illuminate the dense darkness, and a cursed camera app that can capture ghosts. The tension is heightened as you have to investigate while avoiding the curse from becoming more severe with each encounter. Explorations that last too long or when being attacked by ghosts will quickly cause Tsukumo’s body and spirit to collapse, bringing him closer to death than ever.
