Othercide is a roguelike tactical role-playing game developed by Lightbulb Crew and published by Focus Home Interactive. The game was released for Nintendo Switch in 2020.
In Othercide, players will control a group of female warriors known as the Daughters of the Void. The Daughters of the Void are the souls of women who died in the war against alien beings known as The Others. Players will lead the Daughters of the Void into battle through the underground levels of The Void, where they will face powerful enemies and difficult challenges.
Othercide’s gameplay is a combination of turn-based strategy and roguelike. Players will control a group of Daughters of the Void, each with a unique set of skills and abilities. The Daughters of the Void will have to move around the battlefield and attack enemies with their skills.
An important gameplay element is the “Daughters’ Death” system. When a Daughter of the Void is defeated, they will not die permanently. Instead, they will become a new “Daughter of the Void”, with different stats and skills. Players can use this system to create Daughters of the Void abilities that fit their strategy.
Othercide is a challenging tactical RPG. The game requires players to have good skills and strategies to overcome the basements of The Void.
