Skate is a skateboarding simulation game developed by Black Box Games and published by Electronic Arts, released on the Wii console in 2007. This is also the first Skate version released on this platform, opening a series of modern and realistic skateboarding games.
Flexible and creative gameplay
In Skate, players will control a skateboarding character along the streets, parks and lively urban locations. Each location is designed for you to freely perform outstanding skateboarding techniques such as Ollie, Kickflip, Grind and many other creative moves.
The game takes full advantage of the Wii’s motion sensor, allowing you to perform moves with intuitive controller movements instead of traditional buttons. This creates a new and different feeling of playing compared to previous skateboarding games.
Freely create characters
One of the interesting points of Skate on Wii is the Create-A-Skater mode. You can customize your character’s appearance, outfit, and style to your liking, creating a “skater” with a unique personality. This adds personalization and makes the experience more intimate.
