In VARLET, you play as a new transfer student to Kousei Academy, where mysterious rumors abound. Here, a parallel world called Glitch suddenly appears, leading to the rise of strange creatures. When you witness the horrifying truth that many people have been replaced, you are forced to join forces with your friends to fight and save the academy from the brink of destruction.

Youth and friendship

School life in VARLET is not only about fighting but also opens up memorable moments. You will join the Student Support Service to help others, and enjoy after-school outings with friends. The relationship becomes increasingly close with each event, but sometimes being too close brings unexpected situations.

Fight in your own style

The game has a unique Timeline Command system, where you choose the way to fight that suits you. You can become a Leader who supports your teammates and leads them through hardships, or become a Ruler who dominates the battlefield with brutal power. The combination of the two styles will create intense and engaging matches.

Trinity Index and Personal Choices

VARLET brings the Trinity Index system, reflecting the player’s personality through both Light and Dark. Morality, empathy or altruism will gradually form a person who is completely different from Machiavelli, schizophrenia or narcissism. The choices you make in the story will change this index, opening up many new dialogue options and directly affecting passive combat power.
