Jack Jeanne is an otome and rhythm game developed by Broccoli and released in 2021 for Nintendo Switch. The game is set at Univeil, a prestigious performing arts school for boys only. Kisa Tachibana, the main character, is a girl with a passion for performing. She is accepted into Univeil, but to stay, she must disguise herself as a boy and become a “Jeanne”, a boy trained to play female roles on stage.
The game combines elements of a visual novel, a rhythm game, and a time management simulation. Players will follow Kisa as she learns to live like a boy, taking classes and practicing for performances. They will also be able to interact with other male characters in the school and develop relationships with them.
Jack Jeanne received positive reviews from critics, who praised its story, characters, and music. The game was nominated for multiple awards, including the Art of the Year Award from the Electronic Arts Association and the Japan Game Awards.
If you’re a fan of otome games, rhythm games, or storytelling games, Jack Jeanne is a great choice.
