Overcooked Special Edition is a chaotic couch co-op cooking game for one to four players. Released in 2018 on the Switch platform, the game includes all levels and content from the base game Overcooked and both expansions, The Lost Morsel and Festive Seasoning.
In Overcooked, players must journey through various sinister and unusual kitchens to become master chefs capable of conquering an ancient edible evil plaguing the land. They will have to cut, cook, serve, and clean in increasingly difficult kitchens, with new obstacles and challenges appearing at every turn.
The game has a simple gameplay but is extremely addictive. Players use simple controls to perform actions such as cutting, cooking, serving, and cleaning. But kitchens can be complex, with obstacles, moving platforms, and special requirements. This requires close coordination between players to succeed.
Overcooked Special Edition is a great game to play with friends or family. It is a fun and challenging game that will make you laugh and scream in frustration.
