Metroid: Other M is an action-adventure game developed by Team Ninja and Nintendo SPD and published by Nintendo for the Wii in 2010. In this game, the player assumes the role of Samus Aran, a character. famous in the Metroid series, and explore a mysterious research base on an abandoned planet.
One of the notable features of Metroid: Other M is Samus Aran’s focus on the plot and emotional episodes. The game features high-quality cutscenes and Samus’s voice-over in the scenarios, creating an interactive game experience. The gameplay of Metroid: Other M is also very diverse, including elements of shooting, adventure, and upgrading the character’s skills.
However, Metroid: Other M has received a lot of criticism because the control system is not optimized and is difficult for the player. In addition, some players felt the game’s plot was too Samus Aran-focused and lost the mystery and surprisingness of previous installments of the Metroid series.
Overall, Metroid: Other M is an action-adventure game full of emotion and variety, but there are also flaws that make it not really worth playing as the previous installments of the Metroid series.
